Fisherman`s Cove in Nashville

I see why they are the highest rated restaurant around. Service was excellent and the shrimp was prepared very well and I've been more pleased with this steak over many $30 steaks I've had.

I was skeptical at first.... The place completely impressed me! I had the buffet and it was everything you could ever want. A few of my family ordered entrées off the menu and were very pleased as well.

First of all we ordered our food and then they brought the sides out before our main course probably 20 to 30 minutes before. Needless to say they got cold while waiting on out food. We also asked for boiled shrimp and they brought us shrimp on ice like shrimp cocktail is. It should have been served hot and steaming. It was a long wait for not too many people in the place.

Love the Fried Alligator! The staff are always very polite and the atmosphere is very family oriented not to mention how clean the restaurant is, I would highly recommend that you visit and dine here!

Get the hush puppies. Lord in heaven they make the best hush puppies. I started to make an entire meal out of eating just those. Then my hamburger steak with rice arrived and it somehow got better. Definitely will be visiting again. Friendly wait staff, quick service. All around good experience.

The food was great and the service was also. One of the best restaurants in this area. We will be back.

Quite possibly the best buffet ever. Or maybe we were all starving after long day on the lake but regardless everyone ate a ton of food. GREAT waitress but I can not remember her name. She was busy but on top of our larger group of 9.

First time there. Was friendly atmosphere and great staff. Food was awesome. Best catfish I have had in a while. The hush puppies were better than LJS hush puppies.

It was in ants in the ketchup and around our drinking cups. The seafood gumbo didn't have all the seafood in it.. Bad deal or day.. My drink was wrong.

This is a great place to eat. Had the catfish dinner which came with lots of sides and the portion is huge. Better come with a big appetite. The staff are awesome and friendly. You won't go wrong choosing this place for lunch or dinner.

Hubby and I usually stay at Queen of Diamonds in Murfreesboro and eat in Murfreesboro. There is NOTHING in Murfreesboro to compare to this sit down restaurant. They have a menu and a buffet. We chose the buffet and it was excellent! Never again will I settle for something in Murfreesboro!

Always good food and good service. Ordered the Captain's Platter with grilled vegetables this time and it was great.

We have been traveling across the country from California and in this lonely corner of Nashville Arkansas, we found the best restaurant we have yet eaten at. The buffet was outstanding. Has a great variety and each item is excellent. Every time I took a bite of something different my amazement increased. Please take the time to stop for dinner, you will not be disappointed.

Used to be Great, but then they redid their menu and took off the 5 star item. The Prime Rib!. Sad, their best item gone. Buffet, okay. Generally fried everything. Bring back the Prime Rib for Friday, Saturday and Sunday at least. We were driving from Dallas just to eat their Prime Rib. No reasoreason to come back now.

They have delicious food and good service

I was expecting a buffet for lunch but they did not have one? The did not offer catfish on their lunch menu? Instead I had a chicken fried steak with 2 side. Large portions and the food was good, but really wanted catfish since this is a catfish house?

They have fried alligator. That said, it came in small bites that was more breading than gator. Don't let that dissuade you from the rest of the menu.

There were no seafood or freshwater fish choices on the lunch menu. The food we got was good just not what we drove out of our way to eat. Service was good too.

This place was good. The portion sizes were large. My son had the kids fish and it was really good, my husband had the chicken fried steak and he said it was really good, and I had the fried shrimp and it was alright. All I could taste on the shrimp was the oil they fried it in, it could've used more seasoning in the breading. Otherwise, everything else was good and the staff was friendly.

Thursday nights ate the best! great food and selection. you have to try the peach cobbler!

Love, love, love this place. If you eat fish, I recommend this place. The best i have ever eat.

Good food but high prices

Had a very enjoyable lunch. Food was great. Had good service from the staff.

Food was greag!!! And staff was very nice.

The bacon wasn’t real. The mash potato’s had to much butter in them. There was ants in ketchup all over the table and in the sugar. The sodas felt as if they had been watered down.

Good food and value. Service is excellent. So far have tried fish and chicken fried steak. Going for fried chicken next time.

Place was empty yet service was slow. No refill on coffee until we asked, twice. Portions are super small. We ordered Seafood gumbo but what we got was NOT gumbo. It was so spicy that we could not eat it. It had two tiny shrimp in it. Was told a price but they tried to change it after ordered. Don't bother with this place!

Delicious! The fried shrimp are delicately battered and the shrimp are so fresh and flavorful. Loved the fried onion straws also. Server was very pleasant and staff were all friendly and attentive.

I went once on a Sunday. The ribs were dry. Actually all the food was sub-par. I didn't know where to sit, no hostess. For the money? Nope. No out-of-towners will feel good there.

Hands down the VERY best smalltown, roadside stop we've made in 17 months of near nonstop travel and eating out. I was hesitant to try as we almost passed it up, but I kid you not, it was like having a meal at grandma's with every fixing imaginable! I can't wait until we're back this way for another trip. Oh, and if the chocolate cake with chocolate icing is on the buffet, don't miss it. I'm not sure what they did with that icing, but I literally could have emptied the entire tray just for the icing!

Didn't know where to sit. Didn't even know they had menus. Just seen the super sad excuse for a buffet and assumed that's all it was. Super overpriced for the buffet. Not much help from staff. First and last time at Fishermans Cove!!

Food was excellent and ribs weren't dry. It was packed but they had a table cleaned off in no time for us and Lindsey was an excellent waitress. Definitely going back.

My (2) kids ordered the shrimp with fries, wife had the chicken fried steak w/ two sides, and I had the chopped sirloin off of the menu. My family of four had an awesome meal for $32.17. 😀 We loved it. Great home cooking and atmosphere. We will be back tomorrow for the buffet.

The seafood buffet on Thursdays is awesome!!

Huge buffet with lots of selections. Real mashed potatoes and everything else on buffet was good. Wife ordered a steak which we promptly sent back after one bite. Warning - they cover the steak with some kind of soy sauce that totally hides the flavor of the steak. The steak was big, but unfortunately seasoned poorly. We sent it back for a hamburger which took another 20 minutes to arrive.Buffet had catfish (both cajun and plain) which was cooked just right, home made chicken tenders fried to perfection. There was also smothered pork chops, smothered steak, baked chicken breast covered with seasonings and cheese. Next trip back to diamond mine we will be back to eat here.

We were at the museum in Mount Ida. The lady working in there said this place was good. We ended up right by the Fishermans Cove and decided to go for it. This was so good. We did not find anything that did not taste good. Traveling from Southwest Missouri and every place we have had has not been good. I would definitely come back if we are down this way again .

Best buffet I've ever been to. Great quality food and a good selection for a small place. Definately impressed!
